It is Shah Rukh Khan's debut film which has given him a record in his 30-year career, also becoming the highest grossing debut of Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. 

Only Aamir Khan's Dangal, released in 2016, has earned $1968 million so far, which is almost double that of Pathan. . 

However, Dangal's earnings are seven years, while Pathan's earnings are just 43 days, and Shahrukh Khan's film is expected to take the top spot in the next two months. It's too early to tell.
