Authorities in Taiwan have claimed suspicious drones flying near their islands and a cyber attack on the Ministry of Defense website.
Taiwan's Ministry of Defense made this statement on Thursday, a day after US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi's visit, which angered China.
China has started military exercises in the region in response to Nancy Pelosi's visit to Taiwan.
According to Taiwan's Ministry of Defense, they are 12 miles from their territorial waters.

Meanwhile, the diplomatic chief of the European Union has condemned China's military exercises, saying that after Nancy Pelosi's visit, such a response. Exercises are not justified.
According to China's news agency Xinhua, the military drills will use ammunition and are taking place in the sea with Taiwan.
