2 British children stamp their own passports at Dubai Airport

Mohammed Al Marri, Director General of Iqama and Expatriates Affairs in Dubai, gave two British children the opportunity to stamp their passports themselves at the immigration counter.

The children were delighted to hear that they would be getting the immigration stamp on their passports themselves.

According to Emirates News Agency, Thomas Williams, the father of 9-year-old Isabelle and 6-year-old Charles, said that people had arrived in Dubai after spending holidays in the UK.

When the number in the immigration line approached, my two children were curious about what the officers inside the counters would do.

At the same time, Director General of Iqama and Foreigners' Affairs, Mohammad Al Marri, arrived there on an investigative visit.

Told about the procedures of passport officers.

Not only that, but they told my two children that they can put the immigration stamp on their passports themselves.

Thomas Williams, a British citizen, said that what the Dubai Iqama Director General did with my children was wonderful in every sense. All this is not surprising in Dubai.

He has been living here with his family for 18 years. Both the children were born in Dubai.
