As I used to collect things, people used to come to me with old things to sell, so someone came to me with this medal and I bought it.

At that time this medal was in very bad condition. I didn't even know at that time that it was Imran Khan's. When I cleaned it, I found out that it belongs to Imran Khan.

According to Shakeel: 'Imran Khan and CCI were written on it in letters. which was given to him in 1987.

Shakeel said that later when I contacted the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), they asked me to sell this medal to us, so I said that I will donate it, I don't want to sell it. I want it to be displayed there with my name.'

According to Shakeel: I gave the medal to him for which the PCB appreciated me a lot. Chairman PCB called me, gave me awards and honorary certificates and made me meet the Pakistani cricket team. 

Shakeel said that the PCB later sent the medal to England for forensic testing and after a six-month period of complete dating, details and authentication, the medal is now part of the PCB gallery. This medal has also been displayed in the same room where the World Cup is kept.

He said that he has about 22 thousand coins of different royal families and civilizations. Apart from this, they have around 5 to 6 thousand currency notes of 250 countries. 

According to Shakeel: 'After that I started collecting medals, around seven hundred different commemorative and historical medals are also a part of my collection. I also collected stamps and I have 20,000 to 30,000 stamps from 250 countries.

Shakeel started collecting these things 18 years ago when he was studying in the eighth standard and then the hobby turned into an obsession. 

He said: 'The oldest coin in my collection dates back to 500 BC, which means it is 2,500 years old.'

Shakeel said that they have ordered many things from foreign countries. "I got access to people who collect things. Exchanged things with them like things from Pakistan and the subcontinent, I sent them there and ordered some things from them here. 

According to Shakeel, the hobby is not so common in Pakistan, that's why he takes his collection to various colleges, universities and museums, while some museums and universities also display a part of his collection. has gone 

According to him, it is a hobby that not only increases knowledge but also introduces a person to history and different cultures, while it also increases the sense of aesthetics and above all, it promotes a positive trend. Gives.

Shakeel is currently trying to get his name included in the Guinness Book of World Records and also wants to build a currency museum in Pakistan. 

He said: 'I want a museum of world currencies to be built in Pakistan and my collection should be presented in it. I want to be a part of this museum. 

I want all these things to be displayed under one roof so that everyone can see coins, currency notes, medals and stamps from all over the world.
