After a private ceremony at a cemetery in St. Petersburg, Yevgeny Prigozhin, head of the Russian private militia Wagner Group, who died in a plane crash a few days ago, was laid to rest. 

According to foreign media, Yevgeny Prigozhin's last rites were performed on a very limited scale in her hometown of St. Petersburg through a short post on Instagram. 

The Instagram post said those wishing to say goodbye could visit Prokhovsky's cemetery. 

According to a report in a Russian newspaper, the last rites of the head of the Wagner group were performed with the utmost secrecy at the request of family and relatives. 

It should be remembered that Yevgeny Prigozhin, the leader of the Wagner group, died in an accident near Moscow on August 23 while traveling from Moscow to St. Petersburg.

Along with them, 2 other senior militia officers, 4 bodyguards and 3 crew members lost their lives in the plane crash.
