The German Chancellor expressed disapproval of the Palestinian President's remarks

German Chancellor Olaf Schewels has expressed displeasure and disapproval on the remarks made by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas about the Holocaust on Wednesday.

The German chancellor says the significance of the Holocaust has diminished as Israel accuses Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas of misrepresentation.

The German Chancellor has tweeted on Wednesday that the statement on the Holocaust is intolerable and unacceptable, especially for us Germans, and I disapprove of the very harsh remarks of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.

In response to a question from supporters about the 50th anniversary of the attack on the Israeli team at the 1972 Munich Olympics, Israel was accused of committing the '50 Holocaust'.

Condemning it, he called it 'disrespect'. The Israeli Prime Minister has said in his Twitter statement that Mahmoud Abbas standing on German soil and accusing Israel of committing '50 holocausts' is not only morally correct, but also a lie.

It should be noted that six million Jews were killed in the Holocaust of Nazi Germany.  Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, standing with the German chancellor, referred to a series of historical events in which Palestinians were killed by Israelis in the 1948 fight.

The Palestinian president said that since 1947, Israel has occupied Palestinian villages and 50 massacres, 50 holocausts have been carried out in the cities of Deir Yassin, Tantura, Kafr Qasim and many other areas.

Meanwhile, Wafa, the official Palestinian news agency, did not include the Holocaust comment in its report of the Palestinian president's meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Schwalz, and the Palestinian Foreign Ministry said that Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lepid's comments were aimed at distracting attention from Israel's crimes.

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said in a statement that the occupation forces are not satisfied with committing these crimes on a daily and continuous basis, but they do not tolerate and reject any words or statements that accuse the Israelis and the international community of these crimes.

It should be clear that this comment of Mahmoud Abbas has come after 49 Palestinians were killed during air strikes in the Gaza region by Israel this month.
