Diseases are spread by drinking contaminated water.

Horrifying events are being recorded in the city of Rafah, which has turned into tent settlements. Palestinian refugees were forced to eat tree leaves to avoid starvation.

According to reports from Rafah, many Palestinians are forced to camp in the open without tents.

They also have nothing to protect them from extreme cold and rain. Nearly 100 days of Israeli brutality displaced thousands of Palestinians.

According to figures from the International Refugee Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), at least 1 million Palestinians live in the tented settlement of Rafah near the border with Egypt.

This number is 50 percent of the total population of the Gaza Strip.

Abdus Salam Hamad, a Palestinian who arrived in Rafah with his family, said they were forced to live in the open air without a tent for three days.

Abdul Salam while talking to Anba Al Alam, Al Arabi (AWP) said that we asked the permission of other refugees living in the tent to keep the women in our country, in which their husbands came out of the tents and the women in the tent . The place is given.

Another migrant, Muhammad Ghanum, says that here in Rafah there is no empty space where a new tent can be erected. The city has definitely turned into a tent city.

Ghannam said some tents and blankets are being distributed by the Red Crescent and UNRWA, but the number of refugees arriving here is insufficient to meet their needs.

Ghunam said it has become very difficult to get food.

Nabil Farsakh of the Palestinian Red Crescent said the situation in Rafah is tragic. In Khan Yunis, the number of visitors has dwindled due to constant attacks by Israel.

Nibal Farsakh said that there is a shortage of water and food here. Many people drink contaminated water to quench their thirst.

As a result, waterborne diseases spread. Many Palestinians were affected by respiratory, chest and skin diseases.

It should be remembered that the area of Rafah is no more than 32 square kilometers, while the total area of Gaza is 365 square kilometers.
