Cricket is officially included in the Olympic Games

According to the IOC, cricket will be played in the T20 format at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. 

Cricket has also been approved for official inclusion in the Olympic Games like other games. 

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) meeting in Mumbai approved the inclusion of cricket in the Los Angeles Olympics. 

The organizing committee proposed the inclusion of five sports at the Olympic Games in Los Angeles, the proposal was approved at the IOC session. 

At the meeting of the International Olympic Committee, in addition to cricket, baseball, softball, flag football, lacrosse and squash were also approved to be part of the 2028 Olympic Games. 

According to the IOC, cricket will be played in the T20 format at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
