The owner of the car showroom in Karachi was rescued, three kidnappers, including a police officer, were arrested

The kidnappers had demanded Rs 20 lakh for the release while the deal was finalized for Rs 3 lakh.


KARACHI: Korangi Industrial Zone police discovered Shehbaz, the car dealership owner, who was kidnapped by the Dar-Ul-Salaam Society while he was conducting an important operation near the Korangi Dam. 

According to SSP Korangi Sajid Ameer Saduzai, three kidnappers, including police officer Malir Sukhan, were arrested and weapons and vehicles were seized during the operation. 

The arrested suspect, Sohail Hasan Malir, is a policeman from Sukhan Police Station, while Bilal Kar is a PQR (Police National Volunteers) officer, the third kidnapper is Shahzad, a private. Which it was and asked for 20 lakhs in exchange for release while the deal was completed for 3 lakh rupees. 

After the kidnapping, the defendants took the abducted Shehbaz to different areas of Malir and tortured him by administering electric currents. According to the kidnapper, Shahbaz, the accused also withdrew money from the ATM card. 

According to SSP Korangi, the defendant changed three places to collect the reward, but police arrested the three defendants who were strategizing. 

During the raid, the kidnapper's American wife stayed by her side and the police's success was acknowledged by the American citizen.
