Senior Journalist Hamid Mir tells why Imran Khan remained silent when Judge Faiz essa and his family's phones were tapped. 

Hamid Mir, speaking on the Geo News program, said that the Intelligence Bureau tapped the phones of judges and politicians even during Imran Khan's tenure, but at that time Tehreek-e-Insaaf supported this process. 

He said when the wiretapping case came to court, Tehreek-e-Insaaf leaders remained outside the court and supported the wiretapping. 

Shahzad Akbar used to extract opponents' data through phone calls and shared it with FBR, but today they reject this process. 

Hamid Mir said that Imran Khan's announcement that he would go to court over the audio leaks was welcome, but the calls recorded during Tehreek-e-Insaf's government should also be investigated.
