The three-day meeting of the Pakistan-Russia intergovernmental commission begins (today) in Islamabad on Wednesday. According to sources, the Pakistani delegation will be led by German Economics Minister Ayaz Sadiq.
The Russian delegation will be represented by the Russian Energy Minister. Minister of State for Oil Musadik Malik will be present.
The meeting will discuss free Russian crude oil, gasoline, diesel and LNG imports, as well as promoting mutual trade and investment with Russia.
According to sources, it was decided to immediately conclude a contract with Russia for crude oil and other energy products at a 30% discount. Payment and shipping procedures are also specified.
