Samsung Galaxy A33 5G Receives November 2022 Update; Maintenance mode, security settings
Samsung has updated many of its expensive devices and tablets with the December 2022 patch in recent weeks, with high-end models even quickly updating operating systems to Android 13. Today's article covers the delayed rollout of the November 2022 patch for the Galaxy A33 5G.
The Samsung Galaxy A33 5G should have received the November update within Europe last month. However, like the Android 13/October 2022 update, it came late. The chain is currently broadcasting OTA in Slovenia, Europe. Other regions on the continent will soon receive it.
The November update includes firmware version "A336BXXU4BVKB" including fixes for over 48 emerging security vulnerabilities. Typical issues aside, the new firmware includes Samsung's latest maintenance mode feature, which hides your data from repair techs.
After a short tour in Europe and other planned regions, Korean Inc. will bring the update to Pakistan soon. Upon arrival, users of the new Samsung 5G model will receive a notification to initiate the update. Manually, installation begins by simply tapping the install and Install button under Settings > Software Updates.
Samsung Galaxy A33 5G or simply Galaxy A33 in Pakistan has already received the Android 13 operating system. The new operating system goes well with its Exynos 1280 core and Super AMOLED FHD+ 90Hz display. Nationwide, the handset brings a solo variant with 6+128GB. Since the other configurations were out of the affordable category, they did not end up in Pakistan.
It has decent camera stats, with a 48-megapixel high-resolution OIS lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide, a 5-megapixel macro and a 2-megapixel portrait lens. The Galaxy A33 palette includes black, white, blue and peach colors. Under the box is a 5000mAh battery supported by 25W charging, bringing the current retail price to PKR 62,000. Its predecessor is also available right now, the Samsung Galaxy A32 4G is currently priced at around PKR 58,000.
