It was until now; A new leak spotted around the web has confirmed that the newly found device is a 5G rebooted Vivo Y35. Since it appeared on TENAA, it's probably near China. However, we can expect a global debut when it comes out on other platforms. Let's see what's in store for this newly minted refresh of Vivo.
With a 6.51-inch IPS panel supporting an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, the phone is powered by a 5G-capable chip clocked at 2.2GHz. While the chipset model remains a mystery, we can confirm that the phone will launch on an Android 12-based operating system.
Along with a 5MP front camera, Vivo's new Y35 5G will also have a 13MP + 2MP dual rear camera setup. It houses a side-mounted biometric reader for security. This will unlock multiple storage/memory combinations at a wide price range.
According to TENAA, the Vivo Y35 5G will be available in 4GB, 6GB, 8GB and 12GB RAM variants along with 64GB, 128GB, 256GB and 512GB storage variants.
3C, another Chinese platform, recently indexed them for certification. It included a 5000mAh cell and 18W charging support for the new Y35. It measures 164.05 x 75.6 x 8.15 mm in length, width and depth. With the launch date still firm and multiple certifications pending, we can assume it will be official in about a week. The retail tag of the Y35 4G variant is the same as the price of the Vivo Y55, with a fairly similar spec sheet.
