The media personality, with more than 330 million Instagram followers and the envy of every brake influencer, now claims the fourth highest property deal in California this year. Good luck with the Kardashians, folks.

The oceanfront home is located on Encinal Bluffs, one of Malibu's most elite neighborhood pockets. With locals on notice, the off-market deal marks the priciest residential move in the city this year.

Built in 1944 but extensively remodeled in 1990 and again in 2016, the Mediterranean villa-style home was originally the centerpiece of a 6-acre estate long owned by biotech entrepreneur Walter De Logie, who in 2014 I passed away. The following year, his widow Leda sold the sprawling estate to her high-flying neighbors, supermodel Cindy Crawford and her hospitality entrepreneur husband Rende Gerber (via Dirt) for more than US$50 million.

The couple later subdivided the land: a primarily vacant 2.8-acre lot and another 3.2-acre spread containing the main house. With land prices skyrocketing, they held on to the smaller piece and sold the larger block in 2018 for US$45 million to Adam Weiss, a retired hedge fund manager from California's Silicon Valley. After re-landscaping the property and living there for a few years, Wes eventually sold the property to Kardashian.

Kim's new Malibu mansion is enclosed behind an impenetrable hedge and a towering gate, making it invisible from the street and providing the ultimate privacy for one of the most famous people on the planet.

Inside, the 7,500-square-foot home features four bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms, plus several spacious living areas and a home gym. As you'd expect, her new home takes full advantage of the stunning location with glass eaves and open terraces offering coastal views.

Several outer regions are spread over different surfaces of the earth. Outdoor stairs lead to a swimming pool and cabana, and a spa with its own terrace with ocean views. Past the tennis courts, private stairs lead down to the sand for leisurely beach walks and swimming.
