From Rachel Corrie to Shireen Abu Aqila and from American bulldozers to British drones

Every Palestinian protest in Europe and America is led by the spirits of Rachel Corrie and Shireen Abu Aqila, that these two American women proved to be more democrats than democrats.

Rachel corrie was a 23-year-old American student who was immortalized by her human spirit, passion for humanity and sacrifice for human rights.

He traveled from the United States to the Palestinian city of Gaza to raise his voice for the Palestinians who are oppressed by the Israeli army.

Corrie hated the actions of the Israeli army, which the Israeli army did and still do, not only demolishing Palestinian homes and properties, but also destroying fields and sports fields, using bulldozers from the American company Caterpillars.

The occupying Israeli army has turned these bulldozers, designed for construction and development, into destructive weapons of human destruction.

When corrie became involved with a human rights group while living in America, this brave student accepted to make Palestine her field of struggle.

It was in the days when the US military was arming itself with a barrage of weapons against weapons of mass destruction that the remedy, like reciprocity, went beyond preparing to destroy these supposed weapons of mass destruction with even worse and more advanced weapons. had been

For this purpose, the United States wanted to fight with its most important ally, Great Britain and other western countries. Today, Rachel Corrie and the American administration seem to be as far apart as heaven and earth.

Corrie was not only ready to raise her voice against the destroyers of human settlements, but she was also present to raise her last cry for the same.

For the same crime, on March 16, 2003, a military driver of a bulldozer used by the Israeli army deliberately ran him over when he was using the same bulldozer and dozens of similar bulldozers to demolish and destroy the homes of the Palestinian people. There was a protest against it.

The Israeli army bulldozer driver not only crushed Rachel Corrie standing in front of him for this 'courage', but after trampling her under his iron feet, came into reverse gear and again crushed the rib of this brave American daughter. Tried to put money.

On one side was Rachel Corrie who was sacrificed after non-combatant and non-military situations or using machinery as weapons of war against Palestinians.

An Israeli court later upheld the killer Israeli soldier's claim that he saw Cory and did not hear his screams as he was crushed under the bulldozer.

Although Rachel Corrie had come to stand in front of the bulldozer in an orange jacket-like outfit so that the Israeli driver of the American-made bulldozer could see from a distance that she was none other than a human rights activist. She is an American student.

Holding a megaphone in her hand, she was shouting continuously in order to attract the Israeli soldiers driving the bulldozers and stop them from demolishing the Palestinian houses.

But on August 28, 2012, the Israeli court acquitted its murderous soldier. Earlier, in the so-called Israeli military investigation, the same was said that the soldier had no intention of killing Rachel Corrie.

After 19 years, the US State Department has taken exactly the same position on the 'martyrdom' of another American citizen and journalist, Shireen Abu Aqila, at the hands of the Israeli army. 19 years ago today, there is a lot of similarity between the position of the Israeli army and the American position regarding the killing of Shireen Abu Aqila.

Rachel Corrie's voice and sacrifice for the Palestinian people has been recognized by the United Nations and in June 2003, the US bulldozer manufacturer was barred from selling its bulldozers to Israel.

An official of the United Nations Human Rights Commission wrote in a letter to the American company that its bulldozers are being used by the Israeli army to demolish Palestinian homes and fields.

Many documentaries were later made on Rachel Corrie by freedom fighters and human rights organizations around the world, praising her sacrifice and passion. Ireland sent a ship several years later to help the Palestinians, naming it the Rachel Corrie.

Shireen Abu Aqila, despite being an American citizen, is a hero to the Palestinians like Rachel Corrie. She was also covering for her Al Jazeera TV in the midst of firing on Palestinians.

The destruction of Palestinian houses could not be stopped by the sacrifice of Rachel Kory. From 2004 to 2022, the Israeli army has demolished more than 2000 Palestinian houses.

The only change is that previously, only American-made bulldozers were used by Israeli soldiers to destroy Palestinian homes, raze fields or demolish property.

However, one change that has come out is that now the drones produced in British factories have also started to be used by the Israeli army for the demolition of Palestinian homes.

This means that in the demolition of the homes of the Palestinian people, Israel had indirect American facilitation, but now British facilitation has also been obtained.

For this reason, the Palestinians have no longer allowed the scope of their protest to be limited to Palestine and the occupied Palestinian territories. Rather, the protests of Palestinian citizens are now being seen in the United States as well.

Last year, Palestinians protested outside a factory in the British city of Leicester that makes parts for drones and sells them to Israel.

These Palestinian citizens even climbed onto the roof of this British factory and continued to convince the international community to stop selling our goods of death and destruction to Israel.
This series of Palestinian protests started in July 2005, it is now expanding to Western countries and the United States. Under the campaign called 'BDS', the campaign against Israeli products has already been going on for years in Europe and the United States, that Israeli products are boycotted.

Due to this effort of the Palestinians and human rights organizations, many European countries have stopped buying Israeli-made products that are produced in the occupied Palestinian territories, but this is a clear violation of UN resolutions and international laws. While doing so, he writes on them the Israeli composition.

Not only the pro-human rights European countries and governments, but also the political parties who believe in humanity and human rights have started taking a stand on this.

In the Arab world, the voice of boycott of Israeli products has been effective for a long time, but now there are signs of change at the level of governments.

Despite this, not only Palestinians and Muslims from every country in the Islamic world are also exposing Israeli oppression and oppression along the path of Rachel Corrie and Shireen Abu Aqila. They are also raising their voices for the rights of the Palestinians.

Every Palestinian protest in Europe and America is led by the spirits of Rachel Corrie and Shireen Abu Aqila, that these two American women have proved to be more democrats than democrats.

She is a hero to both Americans and Palestinians. When Palestinian or human rights organizations in European countries and the United States come out to protest against Israel's atrocities, the voices of Rachel Corrie and Shireen Abu Aqila will continue to rise.

The use of US-made bulldozers or British-made drones against the Palestinian people will continue to be condemned. Of course, these two countries will reduce their support for Israel by putting forward the June 2003 letter to the United Nations Caterpillars in this regard.
