The friendship of 'Zarqa Boy' who faced brutality in Jordan

A young man in Zarqa region of Jordan who was injured with extreme cruelty and brutality, his hands were cut off and one of his eyes was lost, proved his hard work and knowledge by getting a high school certificate. 

took Saleh Hamdan popularly known as 'Zarqa Boy' has shared pictures of himself on social media wearing a graduation gown and smiling.

Saleh continued his studies despite the brutal torture and amputation of both his hands and diligently completed his schooling with 85% marks. 

He received thousands of special messages of congratulations from social media users. 

In the messages sent, 18-year-old Saleh was praised for his perseverance and determination to continue his education despite being disabled. 

The Jordanian News Agency reported that the Amman-based Hayat Fund for Education offered Saleh Hamdan's future education. 

The university has provided full scholarship for. It should be noted that Salih Hamdan at the age of 16 was brutally attacked by a group of people in Zarqa Governorate in revenge for the alleged murder of one of his relatives and cut off both hands and one eye of the young man. 

One of the assailants bravely made a video of the entire crime scene and went viral on social media, showing Hamdan screaming and crying for help. Salih Hamdan was among the attackers. 

Six persons were sentenced to death by the court, while the other four were sentenced to one to fifteen years in prison.
