An investigation into a murder in the Indian state of Maharashtra last month has also been handed over to the National Investigation Agency (NIA), which is already investigating the June 28 murder of a man named Kanhiya Lal in Udaipur.

According to NDTV, 54-year-old chemist Amish Kohli was killed in Amaravati, Maharashtra, on June 21 before the murder of a tailor named Kanhiya Lal, and police have arrested seven Muslim nationals in connection with the murder.

According to police, Amish Kohli was also attacked with a sharp instrument and he arrested the assailants with the help of CCTV video.

All the arrested persons are from Maharashtra and their names are Sheikh Irfan. Mudassar Ahmed, Shah Rukh Pathan, Tawfiq, Shoaib Khan, Atif Rashid and Yusuf Khan.

It should be noted that Kanhiya Lal was killed by two Muslim citizens Muhammad Riaz and Ghous Muhammad in Udaipur city of Rajasthan on June 28 and also accepted responsibility in a video made after the murder.

A few days before the murder, Kanhiya Lal Police have so far arrested four people in connection with the murder.

According to DTV, in the last 12 days, Maharashtra police had not been able to link the murder of Amish Kohli in Amaravati with Nopur Sharma's statement.

But now senior police officer Vikram Sali says, "The accused have told us that they killed Amish on a social media post in reference to Nopur Sharma."

According to the Indian News Agency Press Trust of India (PTI), a police officer told him that Amish had made comments in support of Nopur Sharma in some WhatsApp groups.

In Amravati, BJP leader Toshar Bharatiya killed Amish. He said that if the murder on June 21 had been reported, Kanhiya Lal would not have been killed on June 28 in Udaipur.
