Three people were killed in a shooting at a shopping mall in the US state of Indiana, while a citizen there killed the attacker. 

Greenwood Police Chief Jim Ison said the incident happened Sunday at a restaurant in the shopping mall. 

Two people were also injured in the incident. 

According to him, "Today's hero is the person who shot the attacker with a weapon when he started firing." 

He did not name the attacker but said he was 22 years old and had a legal weapon. 

According to the report, the attacker had a rifle with a large number of magazines. 

The names of the victims of the shooting have not yet been revealed, while the name of the attacker and the citizen who killed him have not been revealed.
