Donald Trump x-wife, fantastic athlete and loving mother, has passed away

Former US President Donald Trump's first wife Ivana Trump died at the age of 73. 

According to the Associated Press news agency, her family announced her death to the public in New York. 

Donald Trump in a social media post. "It is with great sadness that I inform you that Ivana Trump has passed away today at her home in New York," he wrote. 

Three children were a source of pride and joy for him. Donald Jr., Ivanka and Ari. She was very proud of him as we all are. Rest in peace Ivana. 

The Trump family also released a statement saying, 'It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, who was a great entrepreneur, great athlete, beautiful woman and caring mother. 

"They embraced this country that came out of communism and taught their children to be patient, strong, compassionate and determined," the statement said. She will always be remembered as a kind mother.

The old name of the city was Zlin, which was changed after the communist takeover in 1948. She married Donald Trump in 1977.
