Russia adds Biden's wife and daughter to the stop list

Russia has banned 25 top US officials from entering the country, including the wife and daughter of US President Joe Biden. 

The new sanctions were announced by the Russian Foreign Ministry on Tuesday, according to the French news agency AFP. 

There is also a note from the Russian Foreign Ministry detailing those on the stop list, stating that "in response to the continued US sanctions on Russia's political and public figures, 25 Americans The list includes a number of US senators, including Susan Colin, McConnell, Charles Grassley and Kirsten Glebrand. 

Russia's new "stop list" In addition to some professors from American universities, the names of former government officials are also included. 

Earlier, on April 7, the United States imposed sanctions on the daughters of Russian President Vladimir Putin. 

Relations are strained. European countries and the United States have imposed various sanctions to put pressure on Russia, while last week Ukraine was recognized as a candidate to join the European Union.
