The situation of religious freedom in India has clearly deteriorated

In the report, the commission has identified several attacks on religious minorities in India.

The US Commission on International Religious Freedom has said in its report that the situation of religious freedom in India has clearly deteriorated under the Hindu nationalist regime.

The US Commission on International Religious Freedom has once again recommended specific restrictions on actions against religious minorities in India.

This is the third year in a row that the US Commission on International Religious Freedom is a US government body whose primary job is to monitor violations of religious freedom around the world and to make recommendations to the US President, Secretary of State and Congress.

When the US Commission puts India on the list of countries with specific concerns.

The report calls for the wrath of the New Delhi government, which is certain that the State Department will reject the recommendation.

The State Department has also endorsed the inclusion of Pakistan in the blacklist.

The panel that issues the report is appointed by the US government to make recommendations, but it does not formulate US policy.

In its report, the commission has identified several attacks on religious minorities in India.

According to the report, attacks on religious minorities, especially Muslims and Christians, increased in 2021 during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government efforts to promote the 'Hindu state ideology'.

The report points out that attacks were carried out by violent groups across the country and no action was taken against them, while journalists and human rights activists were arrested.

Over the years, the Indian government has rejected the reports of the US Commission, expressing its displeasure and calling the Commission biased.
