Asia cup : Bangladesh set a target of 335 runs to win against Afghanistan

In the fourth match of the Asia Cup ODI, Bangladesh set a target of 335 runs to Afghanistan thanks to brilliant centuries by Mehdi Hasan and Najmal Hussain. 

This Asia Cup match is played in the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore in which Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bat. 

Bangladesh scored 334 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the allotted 50 overs, Mahdi Hasan scored 112 runs and Najmal Hussain played a brilliant innings of 104 runs. 


Bangladesh's Innings 

Bangladesh's Muhammad Naeem scored 28 runs and was bowled by Mujeebur Rahman, while Tawhid was dismissed for no runs by Gulbuddin Naib. 

After the fall of 2 wickets, Mehdi Hasan and Najmal Hussain batted responsibly and scored hundreds. Mehdi Hasan scored 112 runs and Najmal Hussain played a brilliant innings of 104 runs. 

On the occasion of the toss, Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan said that the wicket is favorable for batting, will try to produce a good result. 

Afghanistan captain Hashmatullah Shahidi said if we had won the toss we would have preferred to bat, we have a lot of support from the fans in Lahore.
