The uninhabited 25-hectare Barloco Island, about 10 kilometers from the Scottish town of Gate of Fleet, has been put up for sale online by the Galbraith Group.
The island has only a wild drinking pool in winter and no other buildings or services.
The listing agency said Barloco Island is part of the Borgkus Site of Special Scientific Interest, meaning its natural areas are protected by the UK government.
According to listing agent David Corey, the buyer will need to use a source other than solar panels or grid technology to power the island.
