A cargo ship stranded in the Suez Canal, the world's main waterway that runs through Egypt, has been rescued.

According to Arab News, canal services company Leith Agencies said on Monday that the vessel MV Glory was stranded near the Suez Canal at Qantara in Ismailia province.

Leith agencies have said the vessel was found with the help of three boats. Authorities do not have details on how the ship got stuck.

The weather was bad in various parts of Egypt, including the northern provinces, on Sunday. The Joint Coordination Center (JCC) in Istanbul, which oversees the export of goods from Ukraine, said the vessel left the Ukrainian port of Chornomarsk on December 25. He went to China.

She was loaded with 65,970 tons of corn. The KPK includes the United Nations, Turkey, Ukraine and Russia.

According to the JCC, the ship was put out to sea on December 3 after an inspection in Istanbul.

The Suez Canal is one of the world's busiest shipping lanes and the shortest route between Europe and Asia.
