Nasir Butt won a £100,000 defamation suit against the TV network after the TV network had made serious allegations against Nasir Butt on two of his programmes. 

The Supreme Court said in its judgment that the campaign against Muslim League leader Nasir Butt was carried out on the basis of political enmity.

Nasir Butt was targeted by the PTI government and some anchors for his close ties with Nawaz Sharif, Nasir Butt, I was targeted to make Arshad Malik's video. The PTI government and several anchors were targeted. 

Master Justice Dignal stopped the broadcaster from making baseless allegations against Nawaz Sharif, Nasir Butt in the UK, saying that Nasir Butt deserved fair damages for the attack on his family and the allegations. 

Nasir Butt said on that occasion that the false accusers had been exposed, that he was sure that the victory was real, that the decision of the British court was a new proof of Nawaz Sharif's innocence.
