INDIA: The Bollywood director called the film Kashmir Files garbage

Indian screenwriter and director Saeed Akhtar Mirza has called the Modi government's favorite film "Kashmir Files" rubbish. 

Speaking to the media, he said the Kashmiri Pandit issue is real but affects Muslims as much as Hindus. 

He appealed to people to approach humanity and not support either side. 

"Kashmir Files" was also recently criticized at the International Film Festival in India, the jury of the festival described the film as "absurd" and "propaganda". 

He added that people should get the story right and not support propaganda ideas. 

Akhtar Mirza said that the term patriotism is used as a money machine these days and that it is not just a Pakistani or Indian problem, but a global one.
