In Nepal communist leader Pushpa Kamal became prime minister for the third time


Once again, communist rebel leader Pushpa Kamal Dahl, popularly known as "Parchanda", has been appointed as the Prime Minister of Nepal. He was prime minister in 2008 and 2017. 

According to the international news agency, the party with the most seats in the country, the Congress, was unable to nominate its candidate for the post of prime minister for the allotted period, at the suggestion of the Nepalese president. 

In which 68-year-old Pushpa Kamal Dahl was dragged to the residence of former Prime Minister Oli for the important meeting to elect the new Prime Minister of the country. 

After a long discussion, after the name was settled, President Badia Devi Bhandari appointed Pushpa Kamal Dahl as the Chief Minister under Article 76(2) of the Constitution. Known as Prachanda in political life, Pushpa is also a leader of the Communist Party of Nepal. 

According to the Constitution of Nepal, the President invited any member of the House of Representatives who received the support of two or more parliamentary parties to run for the post of Prime Minister. 

Communist Party chief Prachanda has the support of 165 members of the 275-seat House of Representatives due to the alliance of various political parties and is expected to win a vote of confidence. 

The rebel Prachanda was a Maoist and waged an armed struggle between 1996 and 2006, from which he underground for 13 years.
