FIFA World Cup: Japan and Spain qualified for the knockout Round

The series of interesting matches of FIFA World Cup 2022 continues, in two Group A games Japan beat Spain and Germany beat Costa Rica, from Group A Japan and Spain qualified for the knockout stages. 

For the elimination phase, two matches of each group will be played at the same time, in the match between Japan and Spain, Japan beat Spain 1-2. 

In the 11th minute of the first half, Spaniard Alvaro Morata strengthened his team's positions by scoring a wonderful goal, but later they had great difficulties with opposing team Japan. 

Japan didn't score in the first half of the game but scored 2 goals in the second half to win the game. 

For Japan, Ritsu Doan in the 48th minute and Ao Tanaka in the 51st minute scored the second goal. 

In Group A, Japan finished first with 6 points and Spain finished second with 4 points. Similarly, despite the defeat, the Spanish side qualified for the knockout rounds with a better goal average. 

In the second game of Group E, former world champions Germany defeated Costa Rica 4-2 to secure third place in the group. 

Germany finished third in Group A with 4 points while former world champions Germany and Costa Rica completed their World Cup trips.
