According to the latest speculation, Vivo's S16 range is set to launch in abundance by the end of December 2022. The successors to the S15 from the chain are again doing the rounds on the Internet with their leaked models. From the looks of it, Vivo's approach to S Series design has taken a sharp turn that leaves plenty of room for debate.

Sourcing OnLeaks x PriceBaba latest development brings leaked CAD renders of newly arrived Vivo S16 Pro. At first glance, the design of the S16 Pro is reminiscent of Samsung's Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. There is a large rectangular extension with four silos inside, one with a ring light and the other three with cameras.

In contrast to the Vivo S15 Pro, the camera island of the Vivo S16 Pro is larger, more rectangular and slimmer in design. It will house three camera holes of the same size, paired with a newly introduced LED ring.

On the front, the S16 Pro will have a curved display, just like the S15 Pro, and its body will have a speaker grill, a USB Type-C port, and a main microphone hole. On the side of Vivo's new S model will be a volume rocker and a power button. With the phone's display setup, under-display biometrics seems possible.

In addition, the device is likely to have a 6.6-inch display and a body size of 164 x 74.9 x 7.5 mm. MediaTek's Dimensity 8200 SoC will power the Vivo S16 Pro along with the Vivo V1+ chip for image processing. The chips are connected to a battery with a nominal power of 80 watts.

The companion phones at the same level, the S16 and S16e, will have Snapdragon 870 and Exynos 1080 chips respectively. The three models will be released hand in hand by the end of this month. The Y22 is the latest handset from the Chinese brand to land in Pakistan, flaunting mid-range specs. The introductory price of Vivo Y22 was PKR 47,999, but now it has been further increased to Rs. 49,999.
