Lily is Depp's daughter and spoke about her father's divorce and the media attention.

Lily Rose Depp addresses Johnny Depp-Amber Heard in court for the first time. In an interview with Elle magazine, Lily opened up about why she chose to remain silent during her father's trial and why she never chose a side, at least publicly.

"If it's something that's so private and so personal that it suddenly doesn't feel so personal... I really feel entitled to have my own secret garden of the mind," she said. Lily doubled down on those statements by explaining that she wanted her work and life to be judged on her own merits and not by the people around her.

"I feel like for a lot of my career, people really wanted to define me by the men in my life, whether they're family members or my friends, whatever," she said. "And I'm really willing to go into detail about the things that I put out there."

During the interview, Lily also brought up the term Nepo baby, which refers to the children of famous actors and celebrities who also choose the business. "People will have preconceived notions about you or how you got there, and I can definitely say that nothing will get you down other than being right for the role," she said. "You may get your foot in the door, but you still have your foot in the door. After that comes a lot of work."

Lily Rose Depp is the daughter of Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis, two giants in the world of acting and modeling. She started her modeling career young and will soon star in 'The Idol,' a new HBO series created by The Weeknd and Sam Levinson, creator of 'Euphoria.'
