In the third T20 match played at the National Stadium in Karachi, the Pakistan team failed in both the batting and bowling areas and England won the match by 63 runs.
England, batting first, set each Pakistan a mountain-like target of 222 runs. In pursuit of this target, Pakistan could only score 158 runs in the allotted 20 overs.
For Pakistan, Mohammad Hasnain scored 36 in four overs, Mohammad Nawaz scored 34 in four overs, Shahnawaz Dhani scored 62 in four overs, Haris Rauf scored 39 in four overs and Usman Qadir scored 48 in four overs.
On behalf of England, Ben Duckett played an unbeaten innings of 70 runs and Harry Brooke played an unbeaten innings of 81 runs.
In response to England's 222 runs, Pakistan's batting line-up looked wobbly from the start and none of the batsmen except Shaan Masood was able to perform well. Shan Masood scored 65 runs off 40 balls.
Social media users were also impressed with Shaan Masood's batting and praised him.
Haider Abbasi wrote in a tweet, "If you feed Shaan Masood as an opener, he will become number one in the ranking within a year."
Saj Sadiq, a keen observer of cricket, wrote in a tweet that Shan Masood has proved that he has the ability to support Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan in T20 matches.
In the match, Mark Wood played the first match of this series for England and remained the center of attention due to his lightning fast bowling.
Even after a long injury, he hit a ball today at 156 miles per hour, which surprised people.
Mark Wood bowled four overs in the match and gave away three wickets for 24 runs.
