An impressive start to the season has led to honors for Megan Hart.

The Colorado volleyball team's middle blocker was named the Pac-12 Conference Defensive Player of the Week on Monday after helping the Buffs to a 2-0 start in league play.

In a sweep at Utah and at home against Arizona State, Hart combined for 21 kills and a .655 hitting percentage, including a season-high .706 mark against ASU.

Hart opens the week leading the NCAA in hitting percentage at .500. The graduating senior has hit over .500 in seven games this season, posting three games of .583 or better.

This is the third career weekly Pac-12 honor for Hart, who also earned Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week honors in 2019 and the 2020 season played through the spring of 2021. Joins Briana DiLozio as the only CU. Players will earn three PAC-12 honors each week. The Buffs now have three of five Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week honors this season, including a pair won by Alexia Kohl over the first two weeks of the season.

Washington's Ella Mae Powell was named Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week, while Oregon's Mimi Collier earned Pac-12 Freshman of the Week honors for the fourth time this season.

CU (10-2, 2-0 Pac-12) will hit the road this week for games at USC on Friday (8 p.m., Pac-12 Networks) and at UCLA on Sunday.
