Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan General Qamar Javed Bajwa has met the President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Tuesday at Majlis Qasr Al Bahr Abu Dhabi.
The President of the Emirates has presented the 'Order of the Union' honor to the Army Chief of Pakistan.
Sheikh Muhammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan awarded General Qamar Javed Bajwa with the 'Wissam Al-Ittihad' award in recognition of his unique efforts in strengthening relations and playing an effective role in deepening the roots of mutual cooperation between the two friendly countries.
This medal is the second major honor of the country given by the UAE to senior officials of brotherly and friendly countries.
According to the official agency of the Emirates "WAM", the President of the Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed and General Qamar Javed Bajwa discussed the issues related to the cooperative relations and common struggle between Pakistan and the Emirates in the meeting.
