A new strain of corona virus has emerged in a few other countries, including the United States and India, which has alarmed scientists.
The virus appears to be spreading rapidly. Matthew Bannicker, director of clinical virology at the Mayo Clinic in the US state of Minnesota, said it was too early to reach a final conclusion.
"In India in particular, the rate of spread of the virus indicates that it is spreading rapidly," he said, adding that it was yet to be determined whether the rate of spread of the virus was high.
