The first birthday of nine children born together: 'This is a beautiful and real treasure'

Nine babies born simultaneously in Morocco are celebrating their first birthday and, according to their father, are all "perfectly healthy".

The children's father, Abdul Qadir Arbi, told that the children had now begun to crawl.

Some of them have even started sitting and walking with the help of support.

In the Moroccan clinic where the babies were born, they are still being cared for.

Halima Sisi, a 26-year-old mother of the children, is also in good health.

"It's not easy, but it's very good," said Abdul Qadir Arbi. "Sometimes we get very tired, but seeing children healthy gives us peace of mind and we forget everything."

In addition to the nine children born at the same time, the couple has a three-year-old daughter.

It should be noted that these nine children, who were born and survived at the same time, broke the Guinness World Record.

The children were born on May 4 last year and their mother Halima was sent to Morocco by the Malian government for special care.

The children's father is an officer in the Mali army.

Having more than one child at a time can be dangerous, and in countries where abortion is legal, pregnant mothers with more than four children at the same time are advised to abort some of them.

In such cases, premature birth can also lead to health problems in children.

Halima and her children are currently living in a "medical flat" owned by the owners of the Ain Borja Clinic in Casablanca, Morocco, where the babies were born.

Abdul Qadir Arabi said that the nurses present here help his wife in taking care of the children.

"The clinic has given us a menu, which tells us about the food given to the children at different times."

According to the Minister of Health of Mali, these children (five girls and four boys) were born from C-section after 30 weeks of pregnancy.

According to the children's father, each of these children has his own personality. "It's all different.

Some are silent, some make a lot of noise and cry. Some want to be picked up at all times.

They are all very different, which is perfectly normal. " Abdul Qadir Arbi is grateful to the Government of Mali for its support.

"The government of Mali has given us everything we need to take care of the children and their mothers. It's not easy at all, but it's beautiful and soothing. "

"The kids haven't gone to Mali yet, but they have become very popular there," he said. Everyone wants to see them with their own eyes. "

Abdul Qadir also gives a message to couples who want children, "I hope God will bless everyone who has not yet had children.

They will have everything we have today. It's beautiful and a real treasure. "
