A man has been killed at the Qatari embassy in Paris, according to French officials. 

According to Reuters, the prosecutor's office in Paris on Monday confirmed media reports that a man had been arrested in connection with the killings. 

"I can confirm that the investigation into the murder has started from today," the prosecutor's office said. 

According to the prosecutor's office, it was not immediately clear if any weapons were used in the killings. 

In the morning, citing police sources, a man was killed at the Qatari embassy.
