The countdown to the World Cup 2022 in Qatar continues, with 32 countries ready to chasing on the pursuit of the greatest prize in international football.

Another four-year period is almost over when players, coaches and supporters from all corners of the globe begin counting down the days to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

In the Middle East, 32 nations will be seen to undermine global prestige, with many enthusiastic teams believing that they can emulate the efforts of 2018 champions France.

Where and in which stadiums is the 2022 World Cup being held?



History is being set in 2022 as the World Cup final goes to the Middle East for the first time. 

Due to the rising summer temperatures in Qatar, the event will take place in November and December instead of its standard June / July venue and will be completed in 28 days. 

An eagerly awaited match kicks off on November 21 and will take place in eight specially designed venues in five cities, with Lucille Iconic Stadium hosting the final on December 18.


When was the draw made for World Cup 2022? 



The draw for the World Cup final took place on April 1 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center. With the help of people like Kefo (Brazil), Luther Mathews (Germany), Adil Ahmed Malullah (Qatar), Ali Dai (Iran), Bora Mulutinok, Carly Lloyd, Jermaine Genas and Samantha Johnson to monitor the events in Qatar. Were present (Serbia / Mexico), JJ Okucha (Nigeria), Rabah Mudjar (Algeria) and Tim Cahill (Australia)

The 29 countries that had already qualified for the stage, as well as the three places reserved for the winners of the playoffs, were placed in four vessels based on FIFA's international ranking system. 


Which teams have qualified for World Cup 2022?


When the final was drawn, there were still three places to be gripped, with one of the UEFA section playoffs being postponed until June because Ukraine could not participate in competitive fixtures after Russia's invasion of its borders. 

Two inter-confederate playoffs are also scheduled for mid-June, with nations competing in the AFC, CONMEBOL, CONCACAF and OFC sections progressing.

What are the fixtures and kick-off times of World Cup 2022?


The 2022 World Cup kicks off on November 21, with host Qatar helping to open things up. The action-packed group stage will run until December 2, when the 16 sides reach the knockout round. 

The last 16 fixtures are scheduled for December 3-6, and the quarterfinals are scheduled for December 9 and 10.

The semi-final showdown is scheduled for December 13th and 14th, with the final coming on December 18th with the arrival of a global audience of billions - the day bronze medals were awarded in the third place playoffs.
