Diamer Bhasha Dam will try to complete by 2026

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has hinted that he will try to complete Diamer Bhasha Dam by 2026 instead of 2029.

On Sunday, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif visited Diamer Bhasha Dam and inspected the construction work.

Addressing the function, he said that Diamer Bhasha Dam project was started by former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in 2016 while Shahid Khaqan Abbasi took forward Diamer Bhasha Dam project.

Giving the task, he said, "Nothing is impossible."

He said, "Pakistani and Chinese companies working on Diamer-Bhasha Dam have shown exceptional performance.

This dam is also of great importance for the economy. We also need to think about big energy projects.

The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of investing in the country and said that all international investors, including energy, would be encouraged.

Criticizing the previous government, he said that it was a pity that four and a half years were wasted.

Shahbaz Sharif directed that free medical treatment should be provided in the hospitals of the area.

He assumed office and received briefings from various ministries day and night.

I will not be a servant of this country on the day when I try to misrepresent the facts. "
