Announced a holiday on Sunday instead of Friday

Why is the holiday celebrated only on Sundays?

We all know that after 1857, the British ruled the subcontinent.

Before that it was ruled by Muslims. The subcontinent was ruled by different nations at different times.

And it is an inescapable fact that whenever a government rules, it enforces its own laws.

Therefore, when there was Muslim rule in the subcontinent, a holiday was declared on Friday.

Because Friday was a very important day for Muslims religiously.

People used to offer Friday prayers on Fridays. And this is done only so that Muslims can perform a religious duty on Fridays.

But when the British ruled the subcontinent, they abolished the weekly holiday system.

He did not take any leave in seven days. But it is human nature to take one day off after working six full days.

The English were all Christians, they all worshiped on Sundays, they performed religious rites on Sundays.

But no idea of a holiday.

One day off a week should be mandatory for a Hindu leader to launch a movement.

But the British did not accept this. And seven years after the car movement began, the British recognized the holiday.

I also announced a tea break for 30 minutes.

And so not only in the subcontinent but all over the world, Sunday became a holiday.

After Pakistan was formed, Sunday was a holiday.

But when General Zia-ul-Haq came to power, he ended the holiday on Sunday and declared it a holiday on Friday.

Thursday was a half holiday and Friday was a full holiday.

This went on for many years.

But when Nawaz Sharif took over his government, he ended the holiday on Friday and announced a holiday on Sunday.

Now the sixth Sunday is celebrated in Pakistan.

But everyone in Pakistan thinks differently about it.

Some say it was done because Friday is our religious day.

On this day, people started paying more attention to weddings and functions.

Religiously, Friday began to lose its significance.

Therefore, after Nawaz Sharif came to power, he ended the holiday on Friday and declared it a holiday on Sunday.

And some people say that Nawaz Sharif has his own business factories, so Nawaz Sharif ended his holiday on Friday.

Be sure to let us know in the comments what you think about it.

But you will be happy and surprised to know that markets in Pakistan are still completely closed on Fridays.

And Sundays are open. Similarly, small businesses such as factories are also closed on Fridays.
