Japan announced that it will give 17 lakh per child to families leaving Tokyo

Tokyo: The Japanese government has announced that it will give 17 lakh rupees per child to every family migrating from Tokyo.

According to foreign media, the aim of the Japanese government, which gives each family 1 million yen (1.7 million rupees) per child, is to settle in other parts of the country and reduce the population of Tokyo, which consists of 3 .5 million people.

The Japanese government believes that this initiative will help change people's living standards and attitudes.

For the success of the federal government, 1,300 Japanese local governments have joined the program, which pays 50% of the funds used in the program, while the remaining 50% is provided by the central government.

Families participating in the program must leave the greater Tokyo area and spend five years in their new home, although they can also move to mountainous areas bordering the city.

Family members who are part of the state system must be employed in a new location, and if a family member wants to keep the old job, they must stay at home to do the work or start a business in the new area.

It should be noted that the government had previously announced that it would give 300,000 yen per child to families leaving Tokyo for other regions in April 2022.
