Benjamin Netanyahu was sworn in for a third term as Prime Minister of Israel after winning the November 1 general election.

According to foreign media reports, Benjamin Netanyahu, who became Prime Minister of Israel for the third time yesterday, has formed a new coalition government with far-right parties and Jewish Orthodox parties.

Benjamin Netanyahu was Prime Minister of Israel from 1996 to 1999 and from 2009 to 2021.

Netanyahu was ousted as prime minister in June 2021 over corruption allegations.

Netanyahu, seen as the biggest obstacle to peace in the Middle East, has denied the allegations against him as he faces corruption charges in court.

On the other hand, in the White House statement on the formation of a new government in Israel, US President Joe Biden says he looks forward to working with the new Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu.
