Lost your smartphone?
If so, then a new feature allows you to easily find Android phones even without internet.
Google will soon release a feature called Find My Device that will track the device even when it is offline.
According to a report, Google hinted at a new Find My Device feature in the latest December 2022 Play System update.
Remember, Google introduced the Find My Device app a long time ago. This system helps to find your lost Android phone, tablet or smartwatch.
Find My Device can also lock the phone or wipe its data, but the phone needs an internet connection to find the lost device.
But this Find My Device error is fixed with this new feature.
How do I use Find My Device?
If the phone isn't there, you can use Find My Device in a web browser on a computer instead of the app.
First go to android.com/find and sign in with your Google account, a window like Google Map will open in front of you.
If you have more than one phone, you'll see the icons for those phones at the top left.
If you click on the lost phone among them (if the Internet works on it), you will find out where the phone is.
If the system cannot find the device, it will display its last location.
At the same time, you also get options to lock the phone and wipe data.
Similarly, you also have the Play Sound option in front of you, if you click it, the phone will ring at full volume for 5 minutes even if it is on silent mode.
