Heavy snowfall in the UK severely impacted the communications system, with 150 flights cancelled.

Communications systems in the UK were severely affected by heavy snowfall. 

According to foreign media reports, the temperature in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, dropped to minus 15, while in Wales it was minus 8. 

Snow also reportedly kept people indoors in south-east and east England. 

According to British media, the snow has caused accidents due to slippery roads, while train services have also been affected. In addition, 150 flights have been canceled and schools have been closed from Cornwall to the Scottish Highlands.
