The Indian defense minister added that none of their soldiers were killed and no one was seriously injured. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said the PLA had crossed the line of actual control in the Tawang sector. They tried to change the situation unilaterally. 

He further said that the Indian Army resolutely countered this attempt by China, prevented the PLA from entering the Indian border and forced them to remain at their posts. The Chinese Foreign Ministry announced on Tuesday that the border situation is currently normal.
