Michael Jackson was well known for his songs, but his interest in Islam was surprising to everyone.

A report published by the Times of India provided interesting information. According to which the 50-year-old singer had expressed his desire to change religion at a friend's house in Los Angeles 

Michael Jackson also consulted his friend and music producer David Warrens-Bye about converting to Islam, after which he regularly followed the path. According to media reports, Michael Jackson's burial and last rites were also done according to his wishes. 

However, this is not how the world media talks about his acceptance of Islam.

Interestingly, according to Economics Times, Michael had changed his name to Mikael and he wanted the last rites to be done according to Islam.
