US President Joe Biden has said that if military action is needed as a last resort to deter Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, it is not out of the question.
In an interview with an Israeli TV channel, the US president denied that he had any talks with the Israeli leadership regarding possible military action against Iran.
The United States has vowed to keep Iran's Revolutionary Guards on its list of foreign terrorist organizations, even if it ends talks on a nuclear deal between Iran and world powers.
Biden arrived in Israel on Wednesday and will also travel to Saudi Arabia for the GCC summit. Most US allies are against it.
In response, he said, "If there is anything worse than the current Iran, it will be a nuclear-armed Iran."
He accused former US President Donald Trump of It has not done well by scrapping the deal, which has made Iran even more dangerous.
"It has never been so close to acquiring nuclear weapons."
In 2018, former US President Donald Trump pulled the United States out of the 2015 nuclear deal, which was also signed by the P5 + 1 countries.
The move was welcomed by most US allies, including Iran's aggressive stance against the Middle East and China.
Relief in sanctions was also offered in return for inspections.
