The White House says that US President Joe Biden has contracted the coronavirus.

On Thursday, White House press secretary Karen Jean-Pierre said that Joe Biden had "mild symptoms" and had taken the antiviral drug paclovid.

The press secretary said that Joe Biden 'will be quarantined in the White House and will carry out his duties from here at all times.'

"He has been in contact with members of the White House on the phone since morning, and will attend scheduled meetings at the White House via phone and Zoom from his residence," the 79-year-old Joe told the Associated Press. Biden is fully vaccinated.

He had administered the Pfizer vaccine, while additional booster doses were also given in September and March.

Before Joe Biden, many world leaders have suffered from the corona virus, including former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, French President Emmanuel McEwan and many top leaders. And officials are involved.

Former US President Donald Trump also fell victim to Corona in October 2020, but at that time there was no vaccine available and not much progress had been made to prevent this virus.

After contracting Corona virus in the White House, he was experimentally vaccinated.

Antibodies were administered and steroids were administered to reverse the dangerously low oxygen levels in the blood.

Donald Trump was treated at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for three days.
