A shooting at a shopping mall in the Denish capital, Copenhagen, on Sunday killed three people and injured three others, the Associated Press reported, quoting Denish police inspector Soren Thomasen.
One person is in his 40s while two are young. Inspector Soren Thomason told reporters that a 22-year-old Denish man had been arrested after the shooting, but added that "there is no evidence that anyone else was involved, although police are investigating."
"Incidents of gun violence are rare in Denmark," said Inspector Soren Thomason.
According to an eyewitness, some people hid inside the shops while some people ran away in fear, which led to a stampede.
Hans Christian Stolts, a 53-year-old IT consultant who came to buy tickets for a concert for his daughters near a shopping mall on Sunday night, said: "This is pure terrorism, this is a terrible incident."
Inspector Soren Thomason He did not give the exact number of people killed or injured, but said "many people have been killed and injured in the incident."

He also said that the suspect was a "white racist." The photo shows the alleged attacker wearing a sleeveless T-shirt and knee-length shorts with a rifle in his hand.
"The attacker looked very violent and angry," Mehdi al-Wazani, an eyewitness, told TV2.
He was very proud of what he was doing, "said Matt Friedrichson, the prime minister of Denmark, in a statement.
