Terrorism financing: Indian court finds Yasin Malik guilty

Yasin Malik's group ended armed struggle in 1994 

Indian court has convicted separatist Kashmiri leader Yasin Malik in a terrorist financing case and the sentence will be announced on May 25. 

He has also been convicted of carrying out terrorist acts, being part of a terrorist organization and other criminal activities. 

During the trial of the case, Yasin Malik protested against the allegations and said that he was fighting for his freedom. 

If the struggle for independence is a crime, then I am ready to commit this crime and suffer the consequences.

 He supported independent and united Kashmir. 

The group ended its armed struggle in 1994.
