Stalled talks on nuclear deal with Iran resumed: EU

Negotiations to restore the 2015 nuclear deal have been stalled since March.

EU foreign policy chief Giuseppe Borrell has said talks on Iran's nuclear program have resumed following a visit by his co-ordinator Enrique Moura. 

Speaking on the sidelines of the meeting, Europe's foreign policy chief Joseph Borrell said he believed Enrique Mora's visit to Tehran this week had helped resume talks after a two-month hiatus. 

Iran's response to Enrique Mora's return has been "quite positive."

"These issues will not be resolved overnight," he said. 

Negotiations between Iran and the Western powers have been stalled since March. 

Were victims Tehran insists that Washington remove the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) from its list of terrorist organizations. 

Progress in negotiations can be difficult.
